Board of Deputies visit Sheffield
Every year, the Board of Deputies of British Jews spends a weekend out of London and this year they came to Sheffield between the 16th and 18th April.
The President of the Board, Vivian Wineman, and several of his elected officers together with more than 30 Deputies, some accompanied by spouses, enjoyed Friday night dinner, Shabbat lunch and a Shalosh Seudah with members of the Jewish communities.
Hospital Sunday

Sunday 31 January was Hospital Sunday. This is an annual event that has been running for more than 100 years to raise money for local hospitals. More than 120 people attended including the Lord and Lady Mayoress and the Master Cutler and his wife. Following a service in the Synagogue there was a tea and speeches. |
