Our Synagogue
Sheffield has a modern synagogue that celebrated its 10-year anniversary in January 2010. It is small and welcoming so that everyone who attends feels part of the service. The Chief Rabbi, Lord Sachs, consecrated it in March 2000 and remarked on how well designed it is and involving for all who attend services. Tours of the synagogue can be arranged for groups who are interested, contact us if you are interested in finding out about this.

Attached to the Synagogue are a number of function rooms of varying sizes as well as a modern Mikvah, classrooms for the Cheder and excellent kosher catering facilities. Every week after the Shabbat morning service and at festivals, The Guild provides a kiddush. The largest room is a beautiful multi-functional banqueting room which also has a stage at one end and is used for concerts and plays as well as community meals, quizzes and other events.
